The truth is, I find it very difficult to listen to music and write at the same time. Seriously, how do you do it?! Every time a thought enters my mind, it gets squashed by song lyrics that make me want to get up and dance around. Not exactly productive (but fun, obviously).
Nevertheless, I can’t help but be reminded of my characters and their world when I hear certain songs, so I put together this playlist of some of my favorites. There are songs for characters, songs for settings, songs for scenes… songs for all the things. You’ll notice I pulled many of them from World of Dance. Thanks, dancers.
